Kanchi Seer case: Bail plea of accused adjourned

Kancheepuram: A sessions court at Chengalpattu near Kancheepuram today (Nov 29, 2004) adjourned the bail plea of seven of the accused in the Sankararaman murder case, in which Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi has been arrested, to December 6.

The main accused in the case, Kathiravan, 'Dil' Pandi Arumugam and Satish, who allegedly arranged the proxy surrender in court in Chennai, as also Palani, 'Kuruvi' Ravi and Sundaraman, made arrangements for this , are presently in judicial custody in Chennai.

The sessions court judge, Akbhar Ali, adjourned the hearing to December 6.
