New Delhi: India today (Dec 1, 2004) shared its expertise with Pakistan on the conduct of polls as the neighbouring country's Election Commission officials met with their counterparts in New Delhi.

The two sides had a fruitful exchange of ideas on electoral process and management in both countries in detail, an official release said.

Pakistan's Chief Election Commissioner Irshad Hasan Khan met Chief Election Commissioner T S Krishna Murthy and Election Commissioner B B Tandon yesterday. Officials from both the countries held discussions today also.

Both sides hoped that there would be many more occasions like this to strengthen bonds between the two Commissions by periodical meetings and interactions.
