Pak condemns attack on Gurudwara Nankana Sahib

New Delhi: The Pakistan Government has condemned the incident involving attack on Gurudwara Nankana Sahib in September this year and said the culprits will be firmly dealt with in accordance with law, Government told the Lok Sabha yesterday (Dec 1, 2004).

In a written reply, Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed said the Government took immediate notice of reports of the attack and expressed hope that Pakistan Government would take necessary measures for protection of the holy shrine.

The matter was also taken up with the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi and India's High Commission in Islamabad raised the issue with the Pakistan Foreign Office, he said.
