New Delhi: Suspended BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leader Uma Bharti today (Dec 3, 2004) met VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) supremo Ashok Singhal amidst speculation about the revocation of the disciplinary action against her by the party.

Bharti's meeting with the VHP chief comes a day after her meeting with party president L K Advani after which she said that she had expressed regret for her conduct at the November 10 meeting of the party's central office bearers. Bharti was suspended from the party and removed from the post of general secretary after the incident.
