IIM fee structure to be rationalised, says Dholkia

Indore: The directors of six Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) today (Dec 4, 2004) decided to rationalise the fee structure and put it before the respective Board of Governors in March-April 2005, for approval.

In a brief address to reporters after the meeting of the six IIM directors in Indore, the director of IIM-Ahmedabad, Bakul Dholkia said the meeting has decided to rationalise the fee structure of six IIMs.

He also said the meeting reviewed the issue of need-based scholarship structure and expressed happiness over the facts that it has benefited several students, who have so far availed of the assistance of over Rs 2 crore.

The meeting was attended by the directors of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, and Kochi IIMs.
