Abdul Kalam to visit JK tomorrow on daylong tour

Srinagar: President A P J Abdul Kalam is arriving on a daylong tour of Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow (Dec 8, 2004), a defence spokesman said in Srinagar today (Dec 7, 2004).

Kalam, accompanied by Chief of the Army Staff N C Vij, is scheduled to address the troops in frontier district of Kargil and interact with school children of Srinagar during his visit to the State, the spokesman said.

The President will also inaugurate the Ibadat-e-Shahadat museum at Badamibagh cantonment in Srinagar, he said.
