Several issues connected to the Naga peace process figured in the meeting, informed sources said.
The two Naga leaders, who had visited India in January last year and held talks with then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his deputy L K Advani, are scheduled to visit
Nagaland next week and then return to Delhi to continue their parleys with the Centre.
For the last seven years, the security forces have been observing a ceasefire with NSCN-IM cadres in Nagaland.
Centre's interlocutor for the Naga peace process K Padmanabhaiah was present at the meeting with the Prime Minister.
A spokesman of the Prime Minister said after the meeting that Singh told the NSCN-IM leaders that Naga people have a right to life of dignity and Government is committed to finding an honourable solution to the problem in Nagaland.
The two Naga leaders conveyed to the Prime Minister that they condemned violence and wanted to resolve issues through dialogue, the spokesman said.
