'Let Vajpayee, Advani reply to Gauri's charge' Thursday, December 9 2004 19:32 Hrs (IST) - World Time
New Delhi:
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will launch a nationwide campaign on the charges made against BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) president L K Advani by his estranged daughter-in-law Gauri Advani.
"Let former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) chief K C Sudershan and Advani reply to the charges made by Gauri Advani," RJD supremo and Railway Minister Laloo Prasad told reporters in New Delhi.
Prasad said that a massive rally would be organised by RJD at Patna on Dec 23 to expose the "misdeeds" of BJP.
Asked about the trading of corruption charges between him and his Cabinet colleague Ram Vilas Paswan, which both of them have denied in Parliament, Prasad said, "There is nothing in it. Write about Gauri Advani."
Gauri, who had divorced Advani's son, had recently levelled charges against Advani.
