NDA to insist on PM's reply on Laloo-Paswan spat
Thursday, December 9 2004 11:55 Hrs (IST) - World Time

New Delhi: A meeting of NDA (National Democratic Alliance) leaders in New Delhi today (Dec 9, 2004) decided to insist on a clarification from the Prime Minister on the corruption charges levelled by Railway Minister Laloo Prasad against his Cabinet colleague Ram Vilas Paswan even as key ally IFDP (Indian Federal Democratic Party) moved a notice of breach of privilege against the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) leader for misleading the Lok Sabha.

The meeting, presided over by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, also decided not to disrupt the Question hour or to rush to the Well of the House over the issue, IFDP leader P C Thomas said.
