Seer's remand in assault case extended till Dec 23

Chennai: A court in Chennai today (Dec 9, 2004) extended the judicial remand of Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi till December 23 in the case relating to the assault of a former Mutt associate G Radhakrishnan in 2002.

The 23rd Metropolitan Magistrate Uma Maheswari also extended the remand of seven other accused in the case till December 23.
