HC wants details of Pappu Yadav's 'cellular' phone Monday, December 13 2004 12:50 Hrs (IST) - World Time

The Patna High Court today (Dec 13, 2004) directed the Inspector General (Prisons) to submit before it computer printouts of the calls made and received on the mobile phone seized from RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) MP Pappu Yadav and others during raids on Beur jail in Patna and other jails in Bihar.
A division bench court comprising Acting Chief Justice Nagendra Rai and Justice S N Hussain ordered the report to be submitted on December 15 and also directed the three mobile companies providing cellular services in the State to appear before it on that day.
The court was hearing a PIL by Indian Medical Association (Bihar) complaining criminals targetting doctors and prayed to the court for security.
The raids in high security Beur jail and other prisons across the State were conducted on Wednesday.
