Sonia condoles death of train accident victims

New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi today (Dec 14, 2004) condoled the deaths of those killed in the head-on collision between Jammu Tawi express and a local train near Jalandhar and hoped that accountability would be fixed after an inquiry into it.

Expressing shock at the tragedy that had so far claimed 34 lives, Gandhi said that the injured passengers would be treated properly and the bereaved families extended all help.
