Shankaracharya files yet another bail plea in SC

New Delhi: Kanchi Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswathi today (Dec 16, 2004) filed another petition in the Supreme Court seeking bail in the case pertaining to attempt to murder of Mutt official Radhakrishnan in 2002.

A sessions court in Chennai on December 10 had rejected the Seer's plea for bail in the Radhakrishnan assault case, maintaining that there was a prima facie case against him.
