Chennai: 'Gemini' Ganesan, popular actor of yesteryears, is critically ill and had been shifted to the Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU) of a corporate hospital in Chennai.

Gemini, as he is popularly known among his admirers, is suffering from multiple problems and also anaemia, family sources said.

The family has appealed to the public to donate blood, as he requires blood transfusion.
