New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, the supersonic cruise missile BrahMos was today (Dec 21, 2004) successfully flight-tested for the first time in a test range in Rajasthan.

The flight test was conducted for the land-to-land role at 12:30 hrs (IST), with the historic event being witnessed among others by the Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister, M Natarajan, Chief of Army Staff (Designate) Lt Gen J J Singh and other top officials of the Armed forces.
