MMS case: 'Minor boy has destroyed mobile phone' Tuesday, December 21 2004 17:33 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Police today (Dec 21, 2004) informed the Delhi Juvenile Justice Board that the minor boy of a reputed public school accused of making sexually explicit MMS involving him and his classmate has destroyed the mobile phone used by him for making the clips.
The minor, who was produced before Juvenile Justice Board's Principal Magistrate Santosh Snehi Mann, was sent till January 4 to the observation home for boys run by NGO Prayas.
ACP M K Sharma told the court that the juvenile, during interrogation, disclosed that he had destroyed the instrument, sim card and the clips but averted queries where he had deserted these items.
The boy, who was placed under the custody of Juvenile Welfare Officer (JWO) for a day, was questioned in presence of his father as per yesterday's (Dec 20, 2004) court direction.
The minor boy's counsel Amit Khanna claimed that police has not found anything incriminating against him.
The juvenile's bail plea would be heard tomorrow (Dec 22, 2004).
