Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmed Badawi arrived in Bangalore today (Dec 22, 2004) on a two-day visit to India's hi-tech capital.
Badawi will later today address industry leaders at an interactive meet organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry.
The visiting Prime Minister, who is leading a high level business delegation, will also visit the campus of software major Infosys and Biotech major Biocon tomorrow.
Before embarking upon his return, Badawi will witness a flying display of India's three home-grown aircraft - Dhruv, the Advanced Light Helicopter, Tejas, the Light Combat
Aircraft and the Intermediate Jet Trainer.
Malaysia is already a significant customer for India's state-owned aircraft maker Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, which is involved in the making of these three aircraft.
