MMS scandal: IIT student Ravi Raj granted bail

New Delhi: A Delhi Court today (Dec 24, 2004) granted bail to IIT Kharagpur student Ravi Raj, accused of selling a sexually explicit video clip involving two Delhi students through the Internet.

Additional Sessions Judge Aruna Suresh directed him to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court.

The court also directed him not to leave the country and surrender his passport, co-operate with the investigating agency and not try to influence any witness.
