The condition of DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) president M Karunanidhi, who was admitted to Apollo hospitals in Chennai last night (Dec 26, 2004), is "stable".
"He is on conservative treatment. His condition is stable," Dr N Sathyabhama, Director, Medical Services said in a statement.
Karunanidhi was admitted to the hospital for back pain.
Media offices were flooded with telephone calls right from the morning on the condition of Karunanidhi.
