Hearing of Kanchi Seer's bail adjourned till Dec 28

Chennai: Hearing on the bail application of the Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi in the Radhakrishnan assault case was adjourned abruptly this afternoon (Dec 27, 2004) in the Madras High Court after the Metrological department informed the court of the possible recurrence of Tsunami tidal waves in the city.

The registry informed Justice R Balasubramaniam, who was hearing the case, of the message it had received from the department in this regard, following which he adjourned the proceedings to tomorrow (Dec 28, 2004).
