PM to undertake an aerial survey of affected areas

Nagapattinam: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will make only an aerial survey of the Tsunami affected areas in Tamil Nadu today (Dec 30, 2004) in the wake of an alert that a fresh tidal wave attack is possible in the coastal areas.

Spotlight: Tidal Waves hit South Asia

After visiting the relief camps in Colachel in Kanyakumari district this morning, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Nagapattinam and Karaikkal, an enclave of Pondicherry neighbouring this district.
