Seer case: Ravi called for in-camera statement

Kancheepuram: A local court today (Dec 30, 2004) asked building contractor Ravi Subramaniyam, the second accused in the Sankararaman murder case, to appear before the court for an in-camera statement.

Spotlight: Kanchi Jayendra Saraswathi's Arrest

The Magistrate-II V Damodaran at the sub magistrate court instructed Subramaniyam about the form and procedure under CrPC for giving statement of confession before him tomorrow (Dec 31, 2004).

Subramaniyam was later lodged at the sub jail inside the taluk office compound in Kancheepuram.
