Trained Psychologists to counsel Tsunami victims

Bangalore: To help Tsunami victims overcome the Post-Trauma Syndrome (PTSD), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is deputing several trained psychologists to counsel them.

Chipping in with various organisations which have offered assistance, employees of the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) have decided to contribute their one-day salary to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for the Tsunami victims, a DRDO spokesperson told sources in Bangalore today (Jan 1, 2005).

How you can help Tsunami Victims

DRDO has already deputed a 20-member team including technicians for gas cutting and wood cutting mission to Nagapattinam, the spokesperson said.
