Seer case: Judicial custody extended upto Jan 19 Thursday, January 6 2005 21:11 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

The judicial custody of Kanchi Seer, Jayendra Saraswathi in the Sankararaman murder case, which expired today (Jan 6, 2005), was extended upto Jan 19 by a court in Kancheepuram.
The Judicial Magistrate-I, G Uthamaraja, today went upto Chengalpattu and spoke with the Seer through video conferencing facility available there, before extending the remand till January 19.
The Seer was arrested in November in the case of murder of Sankararaman, a temple official, which took place in September.
