Seat- sharing with Cong in Jharkhand final: Soren
Sunday, January 9 2005 14:58 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Ranchi: JMM (Jharkand Mukti Morcha) chief and Union Coal minister Shibu Soren today (Jan 9, 2005) said the party's seat-sharing with the Congress was final and there was no scope for re-thinking.

"Our seat sharing is final, there is no re-thinking on our side," Soren told reporters at the airport in Ranchi on his return from New Delhi. Replying to a query on the RJD's (Rashtriya Janata Dal) displeasure over the "Unilateral" decision between the JMM and the Congress, Soren said, "It is upto Lalooji to decide over how many seats RJD would fight. He is free to contest in all the 81 seats."

On Friday (Jan 7, 2005) the Congress and the JMM have agreed to contest 33 seats and 35 seats respectively and left 13 seats to the RJD and the left parties, which had irked Laloo Prasad.
