Arjun confident of resolving differences with RJD
Monday, January 10 2005 17:43 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bangalore: Senior Congress leader Arjun Singh today (Jan 10, 2005) expressed confidence that differences with RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) over seat sharing in Jharkand and Bihar would be resolved in a couple of days.

Asked by reporters how far he has succeeded in sorting out the differences, Singh said, "We will know it in a couple of days."

"My colleagues are already discussing the issue (with RJD)."

The Union Human Resources Development Minister stressed that electoral understanding between the Congress and RJD is essential to "checkmate communal forces".

Singh said he does not foresee any problems in arriving at an amicable settlement over seat distribution.
