Seer's anticipatory bail plea hearing on Jan 12

Chennai: The anticipatory bail petition filed by Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi, who apprehended arrest in a third case, was posted for tomorrow (Jan 12, 2005) by the Principal Sessions Judge T V Ganesh.

The Seer, awaiting release from the Vellore Prison after getting bail from the Supreme Court yesterday in the Sankararaman murder case, has moved the principal sessions court apprehending arrest in the case relating to assault of a temple priest Tirukoshtiyur Madhavan in the city on August 3, 2004.
