Coastal areas of Andaman and Nicobar faced flooding again last night (Jan 11, 2005) as the New Moon water rose to the highest level since the tsunami hit the Islands on December 26, official sources said.
The water surged to the level of 2.40 mtrs, the sources said adding that it was 2.35 mtrs, the day before (Jan 10, 2005). However, it was apprehended that the water might go up to this level.
