Cong to contest 80 seats in Bihar Assembly polls Friday, January 14 2005 17:06 Hrs (IST) - World Time -  New Delhi:
Congress will contest 80 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar, highly placed party sources said today (Jan 13, 2005).
The party would not put up candidates against sitting members of the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) and the Left parties, the sources said.
"We have decided to contest 80 seats and now it is upto them to think about tie-ups," the sources said.
