Kancheepuram: The Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi has been summoned to appear before the Special investigating team (SIT), investigating cases related to the Mutt, at 10:00 hrs (IST) in Kancheepuram this morning.

The summons was received yesterday (Jan 12, 2005), the Mutt advocate Revathi Vasudevan said.
