Seer case: SC adjourns TN Govt appeal by 2 weeks

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (Jan 17, 2005) adjourned by two weeks the appeal filed by Tamil Nadu Government challenging the Madras High Court order granting bail to Kanchi Shankaracharya in the Radhakrishnan assault case.

The State sought the adjournment on the ground that it will file additional documents in the ongoing probe against the Seer in the 2002 assault case.
