After a day of heavy rush of devotees, the Kanchi Mutt's Brindavan complex in Kalavai, saw little activity this morning (Jan 17, 2005) as the focus shifted to various courts where the cases of Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi and Junior Acharya Vijayendra Saraswathi is to come up later in the day.
This morning very small number of devotees arrived in the complex in contrast to the steady flow of visitors yesterday (Jan 16, 2005), being a Sunday.
Karnataka's Swarnahalli Mutt's Gangadharendra Saraswathi, who was staying in the Mutt and conducting his own poojas since January 14, left Kalavai late last night.
RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) chief K S Sudarshan is expected to call on the Seer this afternoon. The RSS chief, who arrived in Chennai last night left for Kalavai in Vellore district around 11:00 hrs (IST) today.
