People will disapprove Cong-LJP-RJD love triangle Tuesday, January 18 2005 18:48 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Patna:
Senior JDU (Janata Dal-United) leader Nitish Kumar today (Jan 18, 2005) laughed at the 'love triangle' formed by the Congress, RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) an LJP (Lok Janshakti Party) for Bihar Assembly polls, which he said, would find no admirer in the February Vidhan Sabha polls in the State.
''It's a love triangle by the Congress, LJP and RJD. Voters should not be confused'', Kumar told sources in Patna.
RJD President and Railway Minister Laloo Prasad was the scriptwriter of this drama and the LJP and Congress were playing the roles assigned to them'', he added.
In the garb of 'friendly fight', Congress is fielding candidates at many places at the behest of Laloo to eat into the anti-RJD votes, he said adding but they would not succeed.
Asserting that LJP and Congress assertions in the past against the RJD rule in Bihar stood exposed, he said the February polls in the State would be a straight fight between the RJD and the NDA (National Democratic Alliance).
Kumar, who made several attempts to bring LJP into a grand alliance against RJD, said it was hard for Paswan to choose between privilege (of being a Union Minister) and principle (ending jungle raj in Bihar) and unfortunately he opted for the first.
Asked if there was any hope left for forging post-poll alliance with the LJP if the situation demands, Kumar said, ''That situation will not come. NDA will get majority in the election and form Government''.
