New Delhi: Eid-ul-Azha would be celebrated in India on Friday (Jan 21, 2005), the Shahi Imam of Fatehpuri Masjid announced today (Jan 19, 2005).

Shahi Imam Mufti Mohammad Mokarram Ahmed would lead the prayers, Fatehpuri Masjid said in a statement in New Delhi.

All arrangements for the prayers, which would be performed at 9 hrs (IST), had been completed, it added.
