An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the wee hours of the day (Jan 21, 2005).Spotlight: Tidal Waves hit South Asia The quake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, had its epicentre off the west coast of Little Nicobar Island, the Meteorological Department said in New Delhi.
How you can help Tsunami Victims The tremor occurred at 00:56 hrs IST and was epicentred at 7.4 degrees North Latitude and 92.8 degrees East Longitude, it said.
