Kalavai: Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi has no immediate plans to go to Kanchi Sankara Mutt.

"For the time being, he will not move out of Kalavai. He has not thought of going to Kanchi Mutt. He continues his Moun Vrat (silent)," Mutt sources in Kalavai said.

Jayendra Saraswathi has been staying here since January 11 when he was released on bail following his arrest in the Sankararaman murder case.

The Supreme Court, which gave him bail on January 10, had directed that he should not visit the Kanchi Mutt till chargesheet was filed in the case.

Mutt Sources said the Seer was aware of the chargesheet being filed at a Kancheepuram court.

Meanwhile, R N Tiwari, Special representative of Jharkhand Government in New Delhi, called on the Seer this evening.

He told reporters he had come here to have a darshan of the Seer.
