Maoist naxals kill TDP activist in AP village

Adilabad: A TDP (Telugu Desam Party) activist was shot dead today (Jan 22, 2005) by Maoist naxals in at Ankoda village in the district, police said in Adilabad.

Four armed naxals of CPI (Maoist) shot dead K Pocham at point blank range after knocking at his door, they said, adding the victim was charged with being a police informer.

Pocham was also chairman of Vana Samarakshana Samiti, police said.
