Mumbai: Police today (Jan 23, 2005) decided to hand over the body of actress Parveen Babi, who was found dead at her Juhu residence yesterday (Jan 22, 2005), to her niece from Balashinore in Gujarat.

The actress will be buried next to her mothers burial at a Cemetry in Santacruz this evening.

"The police will be handing over the body of the actress to her niece Farhad Sultan Babi," DCP Amitav Gupta told sources in Mumbai.

He said all the relatives, who arrived here today agreed to handing over the body to Farhad.

Police said the niece of the actress produced photographs and documents to prove her relation.
