Students urge President to secure Kislay's release
Monday, January 24 2005 16:31 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Patna: Stepping up protest against the abduction of Kislay Komal, a Delhi Public School student, all private schools remained closed today (Jan 24, 2005) as students launched a relay fast in the state capital and urged the President, A P J Abdul Kalam, to intervene and secure the boy' release.

Disturbed over the delay in tracing the boy, students appealed to the President to spare some time from his busy schedule and visit Patna to intervene for the boy's release, who remains traceless for the sixth day today.

Further mounting pressure on the administration, the students also launched a relay hunger strike for an indefinite period on the DAV school campus in Patel Nagar and organized 'havana' and 'yajna' for his release.
