LJP releases 2nd list of 52 candidates for Bihar Tuesday, January 25 2005 16:12 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) today (Jan 25, 2005) released its list of candidates for 52 out of the 86 Assembly seats going to poll in the second phase in Bihar on February 15 leaving 30 for its UPA (United Progressive Alliance) ally, the Congress.
Releasing the party's second list of 52 candidates, LJP spokesman Sanjay Singh said that the LJP had spared 30 seats for its electoral ally and would announce the names of candidates for four seats-Banmankhi, Sonebarsa, Bakhri and Narpatganj-will be announced tomorrow (Jan 26, 2005).
He said that the list of candidates for the constituencies going to poll in the third and final phase would also be released soon.
Among the notable candidates whose names figure in the second list include state LJP Parliamentary Board Chief Satish Kumar (Suryagarha) and it's MLA Pashupati Kumar Paras (Alauli).
Paras is younger brother of LJP president and Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Ram Vilas Paswan.
