New Delhi: M K Narayanan was today (Jan 25, 2005) appointed the new National Security Advisor (NSA).

Narayanan was officiating as the NSA after the death of J N Dixit earlier this month.

The order appointing him as the NSA has been issued, media advisor to Prime Minister Sanjay Barua said.
