85 file nominations for second phase poll in Bihar Tuesday, January 25 2005 16:45 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Around 85 candidates, including senior Bihar Ministers Shakuni Choudhury, Srinarayan Yadav and Ravindra Charan Yadav, submitted their papers on the penultimate day of the filing of nominations today (Jan 25, 2005) for the 86 Assembly seats in Bihar going to polls in the second phase on February 15.
State election office sources said nearly 85 candidates filed their nominations in different constituencies.
While Health Minister Choudhury submitted his papers for Tarapur and Urban Development Minister Srinarayan Yadav for Balia, Industry Minister Ravindra Charan Yadav filed his nomination for Uda Kushunganj Assembly seat.
Another State Minister Ashok Kumar Singh filed his nomination for Sonebersa.
Former Bihar Minister and Samajwadi Party leader S P Tekriwal filed his papers for Saharsa.
January 27 is the last date of filing of nominations for the second phase of poll. Scrutiny of papers would be done the next day and January 31 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations.
