Zaheera said she had appeared before the Mumbai court for re-trial as she was issued a summon and added that she did not know why the re-trial was being held.

She said that she learnt that the trial at Vadodara had got over when she was at her native place but did not know its outcome.

Zaheera also said that now she had no fear from anyone in Gujarat and also she did not remember what she had said during the trial at Vadodara.

Zaheera said that activist Teesta Setalvad had told her that her mentor would show her some pictures and give her names which she would need to mention before the court. But she said she had refused to see the pictures.

When asked about the names that she had mentioned to police in her statement, Zaheera said she had done so at the insistence of the people from her community and did not remember them now.
