Abdul Kalam concerned over kidnappings in Bihar

New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam is "quite concerned" about the kidnapping of school children in Bihar over which he has been getting a flood of e-mails and petitions from students in the State.

Official sources said President's Secretary was in regular touch with senior officials of the State Government.

The President, they said, was being kept informed about the developments in this regard.

Three students have been kidnapped in the past few weeks in Bihar --- Kislay of Delhi Public School in Patna, Ravikant of the DAV Public School of Biharsharif and Dipak Kumar of the DAV Public School in Bhagalpur.
