Four Naxals killed in encounter in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: Four Naxalites of Pratighatna group were killed in an encounter with police near Bollapalli village in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh today (Jan 29, 2005).

The exchange of fire took place when a police party was going to visit the village, police said.

Both the Naxals and police exchanged fire for about half-an-hour, police said adding, 14 weapons, 57 kitbags, some utensils and a tent was also recovered from the spot.
