End RJD rule if you want to live in peace: Uma Saturday, January 29 2005 16:33 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Dehri-On-Sone (Bihar):
Harping on the poor law and order situation in Bihar, firebrand BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti today (Jan 29, 2005) said the common man has already suffered a lot during 15 years of RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) rule in the State and appealed to the people to vote out the Rabri Devi Ministry if they wanted to live in peace.
"You people have already suffered a lot during the RJD's rule for the past 15 years in the State. Now if you want to live in peace, vote out that party," Bharti said addressing an election rally in Dehri-On-Sone in Rohtas district.
"The law and order situation has deteriorated to the extent that even school children have been forced to hit the streets to protest kidnapping of their colleagues. This is pathetic," she said.
The BJP leader also castigated the Congress, a coalition partner of the RJD in Bihar, for growing criminalisation of society in the State.
"Criminalisation of Bihar had started during the past Congress regime and the RJD has taken it to the peak," she alleged.
