Black Friday still 'in dark' as SC dismisses plea

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (Jan 31, 2005) dismissed a petition filed by producer of the controversial movie 'Black Friday', which narrates the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai, challenging a Bombay High Court order staying the release of the film scheduled for last Friday (Jan 28, 2005).

The court, while dismissing the petition filed by Mid-Day Multimedia Ltd, said that the High Court had given an interim stay till February 3 and that the petitioner should approach the High Court for appropriate relief.
