London: The holding of elections in Iraq has dealt a severe blow to international terrorism, British Prime Minister Tony Blair said yesterday (Jan 30, 2005).

The process, he said was "a blow right to the heart of the global terrorism that threatens destruction not just in Iraq but in Britain and virtually every major country around the world."
