Panaji: A session of the Goa Assembly will be convened on February 3, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar announced today (Jan 31, 2004).

Goa has been locked in a political stalemate after resignation of four BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) MLAs and the withdrawal of support of two legislators of the regional parties supporting the BJP-led State Government.
