Army major dismissed from service for indiscipline

Uri (JK): Major Rehman was today (Jan 31, 2005) dismissed from the service for indiscipline but was acquitted by an Army court on the charge of raping a woman.

Rehman was acquitted of the rape charge following a negative DNA report.

The Army court was trying him on five counts, including rape and indiscipline.
